I think it would be cool if they made the Alliance counterpart to Ghostwolf, a ghost lion. As Wolves are the symbol of the Horde and Lions the symbol of the Alliance Zarnks 07:24, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Ghost Wolf & Flag Carrying

Anybody know if Ghost Wolf causes you to drop the flag in a battleground? I know it shouldn't, but I also know that the list of things that will make you drop the flag isn't exactly standard (pally bubbles drop, while priest bubbles don't; for example).---Darth603 16:53, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Ghost Wolf doesn't causes you to drop the flag... at least in WSG.---BirdFox 08:57, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Any1 know if the ghost wolf is faster while swimming aswell? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Somthing (talk · contr).

  • No it isn't, only the Druid's [Aquatic Form] and some potions/equips make you swim faster.--User:GorundThis is Gorund!User_talk:GorundTalk to me:DSpecial:Contributions/GorundMy contributions.Gorund bear1.jpgRoar! 14:48, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Incorporeality and Undeath

Shamans do not become undead in ghost wolf form, nor are they capable of possessing creatures or objects. Simply because some incorporeal creatures possess these traits does not and should not suggest that any incorporeal creature does, and is not grounds for inclusion in the article. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 16:51, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

You don't have a source stating that shamans do not become undead in ghost wolf form and you don't have a source stating that they are not capable of possessing creatures or objects. GHOSTS are undead and that is what shamans turn into when they transform into a GHOST wolf. It is YOU who doesn't have any sources. You don't have any sources suggesting/stating that shamans do not become undead when they turn into ghost wolves and you don't have any sources suggesting/stating that shamans are not capable of possessing creatures or objects when they are incorporeal. The fact that Micky stated a dreadlord was able to possess a corpse because he was in-between the world of the living and the dead is more than enough evidence to suggest that ghosts, spirits that are incorporeal/disembodied, who exist in-between the world of the living and the dead are able to possess corpses.VisionOfPerfection (talk) 17:28, 5 August 2015 (UTC)VisionOfPerfection
Sources don't work that way. You are the one making the claim that any incorporeal creature can possess things. You need to cite a source; you do not get to make other people cite sources that your ridiculous claim is false. And, for the record, you're conflating incoproreality in general with an unrelated property of dreadlords (using a tweet which, if I remember right, was specific to Balnazzar's situation and not to dreadlords as a whole anyway).
You would also have to cite that shamans are turning into literal ghosts, because, seriously, that's just as ridiculous. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:36, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
1a) I don't believe you understand how speculation works. You want direct sources stating that shamans become undead when they use ghost wolf form and you want direct sources stating that shamans have the ability to possess creatures or objects. Speculation does not work that way. When you have a source stating/proving that shamans become undead when they use ghost wolf form it is no longer speculation that shamans become undead, it is fact.
1b) I am not stating that shamans are undead in ghost wolf form, I am stating that they might be based off what we know. I am not stating that shamans have the ability to possess creatures and objects, I am stating that they might have the ability to possess creatures and objects based off what we know.
2) I made the claim that any incorporeal creature can posses things and for a good reason. Incorporeal creatures do not have bodies, hence they are incorporeal. Disembodied spirits/ghosts, spirits/ghosts separated from or existing without the body, exist in-between the realm of the living and the realm of the dead/spirit. Micky stated that Balnazaar was able to possess a corpse because he existed in-between the realm of the living and the dead, therefore it stands to reason that shamans who become disembodied ghosts/spirits have the ability to possess creatures, or rather the corpses of creatures.
3) Balnazzar's case was not unique which Micky believes it to be. Just because Micky believes Balnazzar's case was unique doesn't mean it is, per the Warcraft 3 manual dreadlords have the ability to possess beings.
4) I don't have to cite that shamans are turning into literal ghosts because no matter what, they are turning incorporeal, beings without a body. Even if they are not transforming into a ghost when they turn into a ghost wolf, they still are turning into something that is disembodied yet animated/moving. There is also the fact that the only instance in recent lore when shamans transformed into ghost/spirit wolves is when Aggra and Thrall separated their souls from their bodies, thus becoming disembodied spirits.. Could you stop using numbered paragraphs when you answer, please ? That's VERY annoying... Klakmuf 22:20, 5 August 2015
