Placement

Does A Symphony of Frost and Flame really show that it was located near Ymirheim? While it was in the center of the zone, the WoW map may be warped. The chamber was in a cave in TFT, and when Arthas fused with Ner'zhul, he blew the roof off revealing the spire. I assumed the spire was recovered just with Saronite, not moved.--SWM2448 22:49, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

I have beaten A Symphony of Frost and Flame a minutes ago and nothing it's said about Ymirheim. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 22:55, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Well, where Ymirheim is now...--SWM2448 22:57, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Ymiheim didn't exist in previous maps. If you were to put new map on top of older maps though, the Frozen Throne is shown to be located somewhat near where Ymirheim is now located. Syphonony of Frost and Flame is important though as it established in mission text, and commentary that Frozen Throne stuck out of the center of the rift. As one sees in Wrath Ymirheim is the only high point in the center of the 'rift' (using the term losely).Baggins (talk) 03:49, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
Old map shows nothing to prove that frozen throne nas been moved to new plase. It like to say that moonglade has been moved by someone hands. All maps in warcraft and WoW are different so there is no reason to contend this. --Jlewuu (talk) 14:04, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
It is on a mountain in the center on the zone surrounded by lower land, yes, but there is nothing else showing that the spire (Frozen Throne, Throne Chamber, Icecrown Citadel, or what have you) moved. I think it is just a minor map retcon for dramatic purposes. It seems the info should not stay in the article. Any other thoughts?--SWM2448 22:59, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Delete then. --Jlewuu (talk) 10 June 2009 (UTC)
I just wanted to draw your attention to the Icecrown Citadel article. It pretty much speculates that the Frozen Throne is inside the Citadel. Might be a good idea to add a line to this article forwarding to to the Citadel. We'll probably know more once 3.3 hits though. DarthMuffin (talk) 03:49, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

From Blizzcon 2009

Some Blizzcon pictures and info pretty much confirm that the throne is inside the citadel. I'm not sure what's the Wiki's policy towards this kind of info so I'll let you guys take it from here. DarthMuffin (talk) 22:50, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Well, given that the Frozen Throne's remains can be used as a literal throne, I suppose so. There are enough pictures to the article, though, so add it to the gallery.--Ragestorm (talk · contr) 17:19, November 24, 2009 (UTC)
