Talk:Frostbrood Guardian

I don't know what's up with the weird page/wowhead Id but there's a Frostbrood Guardian mob in Icecrown durin Death Rises. Xporc (talk) 11:10, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

Did this mob ever actually exist on live? The only picture was of the old Sapphiron model, which suggests it was from before launch, Wowhead has no location data or comments for it, and the quest it references is in the Howling Fjord and doesn't even involve a frost wyrm. I suspect the original one was removed in beta and probably had its ID repurposed, and then they added a new Frostbrood Guardian mob for the event.-- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 01:43, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

Patch changes section doesn't help either. Frostbrood Matriarch are the only ones I've ever seen flying around Icecrown since Wrath and up until 9.0 prepatch. Surafbrov (talk) 02:07, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

I think you may be right about it being an original beta mob. Would explain the model too. None of the other databases I've checked seemed to have anything on this one either. PeterWind (talk) 14:07, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
