Talk:Elwynn Forest
Quest section
I am expanding and layering the quest section based on what was done for the Dwarf starting area. --SwordMage 19:09, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Government
I edited the type of government to be Monarcy...Democracy? Seriously guys, Democracy? Thermo 16:11, 10 December 2007 (UTC)Thermo
- Government: Democracy. (Lands of Conflict)
- Do not change it again, please, that info is from an official source.Baggins 16:15, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- I've added a source section to the infobox, so that we can avoid this sort of confusion in future :) Thermo, I understand what you mean, but remember Stormwind is a different area - Elwynn will have it's own system of government, even if it ultimately answers to Stormwind. Gnomes
Can I add Gnomes to the races, look at Tower of AzoraUser:Airiph/sig 00:12, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
I think we can add any race if its found, just as long as we don't try to "count them", due to scale we would have no idea how many there really are.Baggins 00:13, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
OkieUser:Airiph/sig 00:14, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Although we need to be careful not to count "tourists" and "visitors", the lists really should only count those that have properly moved into an area, and aren't there just as diplomats or abassadors (or other professions that bring them from another nation).Baggins 00:18, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
So we obviously know druid trainers are out, but... The Azoran gnomes seem to be housekeepers, indentured servants (due to them just wearing some sort of white covering), possibly even slaves. So should we count them? Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 16:59, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Not slaves, and probably not indentured servants, hired more likely. According to brann its implied slavery hasn't occured in the Alliance since the second war. That's not to say it doesn't happen, just not openly (hidden slavery still occurs in the real world under the nose of law enforcement).Baggins 20:36, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Minor Settlements
Okay where does it list them as minor settlements in LoC since you reverted me twice? Rolandius (talk - contr) 05:18, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
- Minor settlement is for listing any settlement that isn't listed as a major settlement or better. It has nothing to do with the rpg.Baggins (talk) 05:37, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Flight paths
Why are the flight paths for Stormwind City on both the Stormwind City page and Elwynn Forest page? Couldn't they be merged? The same goes for any other race capital if they are the same case. Rolandius (talk - contr) 11:42, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Maps and subregions mess
As of this writing, the box of subzones in the "Maps and subregions" section is a mess, and different from most other boxes of the same function. I needs cleaning. What do the notes refer to? How many of the places are actually in-game subzones?--SWM2448 20:01, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
- I, also, don't understand what the notes refer to, but I think we should use the box as it was in this revision before it was changed. It is cleaner and is easier to follow. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 21:44, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
Cata
Somebody i know who went to blizzcon said Elwynn Forest was gonna have some upside down terrain. Hallowseve15 (talk) 02:33, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- K, well Blizz stated places like Elywnn aren't going to receive heavy changes. Don't place anything unless you can cite it from an official source. (Sssss/Slithered) 02:39, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
Unused Maps
Can I add the early alpha and cataclysm beta maps to the gallery? FenneKindleFire (talk) 02:01, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
