Capitalization

Checked several quests and in all instances I found it in upper case and only one was written in lower case. Should it be capitalized here like the Broken and Forsaken? --Mordecay (talk) 17:35, 7 May 2018 (UTC)

According to Project:Manual_of_Style#Capitalization, races should not be capitalized. Xporc (talk) 19:45, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Yep, races like human and tauren. Forsaken, Broken and Drust are always capitalized. You can see the spelling outside the game in literature or previews. --Mordecay (talk) 19:48, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
Mh, seems so. Xporc (talk) 19:55, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Are these Drust?

Does anyone know if this model is a zombie Thros-ified Drust or not? I got it in my head that it was but now that I think about it I'm not sure what made me think that. ReignTG (talk) 16:36, 4 June 2018 (UTC)

Mmmh maybe. Gorak Tul obviously got transformed as well. Xporc (talk) 19:16, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
I believe that some of the ones who use that model can actually talk. My guess is that they're Drust Spirits who have transformed into Soul-Eaters. I'll have to do more research for that. --Dusksworn (talk) 19:37, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
Soul-Eaters being these would be a great foreshadowing. Anyway like I said I agree these are probably Drust but don't know where I got that idea from, at least from what I've seen they haven't been called that yet. ReignTG (talk) 23:05, 4 June 2018 (UTC)

Fate of Druidic Drust

The current article says that all the Drust were wiped out, but Ulfar says that the surviving (and more peaceful) druidic Drust eventually intermarried into the Kul Tirans (thus explaining why some are born with nature affinity). Also, the fact that they could have offspring could suggest the Drust were human and not a separate species. The14th (talk) 06:18, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

The current article does state that the druidic Thornspeakers left Drust society during Gorak Tul's war, but it could be worded more clearly.
Ulfar says nothing about intermarrying with humans however. He just says that his group joined Kul Tiran society and taught some humans the druidic ways. -- MyMindWontQuiet 13:21, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

Vrykul/Drust connection?

We know from Wrath of the Lich King that humans are directly descended from the Vrykul. With the Drust models ingame looking basically like humans, I've come to hypothesize that the Drust were a group of early humans who were sent away by their Vrykul parents to protect them. They settled on Drustvar and followed the old ways of the Vrykul, perhaps diverging over the centuries, but as this page states, they share a lot of characteristics with the Vrykul. Not mentioned is the construct they used being remarkable similar to those used by some Vrykul in Northrend. Thoughts? Deadlykris (talk) 14:35, 3 October 2018 (UTC)

This is mentioned in the Speculation section. -- MyMindWontQuiet 15:26, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
