Talk:Dire troll

Name

The article begins "Dire trolls (also known as berserkers)." There is a citation for berserkers, but what's the source for dire troll? I don't recall that name being used anywhere in-game, though I'll admit I could be wrong. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:49, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

2 of the refs at the bottom refer to them as "dire trolls". I'll add them to the top. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 18:16, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

Dire troll females

I once asked a question to Lore_(CM) in regards to female dire trolls on Twitter a couple or three years ago, and got the response of "Female dire trolls exist, however, not in-game as a model because of gameplay." perhaps not that exact sentence, although along those lines. Sadly I couldn't dig it back up as I deactivated the account over a year ago.
This as a "response" to Xporc's fact-check of the female dire troll trivia. --WarGodZajru (talk) 16:47, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

So essentially you don't have proof. I'm not saying you're lying, but having proof is the point of the fact-check ... Xporc (talk) 16:40, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
Oh I know, I'm not questioning the validity of the fact-check, I was questioning myself about adding it or not, but I went with the latter, as I was unsure. Thanks for adding it for me, however. My point was to tell you (and others whom read my initial statement) what reason I had for adding the trivia in the first place, as it still lingers in the back of my head whenever I looked over dire trolls. --WarGodZajru (talk) 16:47, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
