Someone realized there was human statues on the underworld minion's dungeon on WC3? Blizzard re-using dungeons once more... Pudim17 (talk - contr) 12:25, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Broken Islands?

Are the Darkspear islands part of the Broken Islands? PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) 19:05, September 5, 2009 (UTC)

No, the Darkspear islands sunk into the sea and the Broken Isles are still upseas. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 20:43, September 5, 2009 (UTC)
Were they ever a part? I am not sure.--SWM2448 21:02, September 5, 2009 (UTC)

Lost Isles?

Am I the only one to notice the similarities between the Lost Isles and the Darkspear islands? It's too soon to tell, but I suspect they are related somehow.--Lon-ami (talk) 11:37, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Capitalization

This page currently cites page 132 of the Ultimate Visual Guide for the name "Darkspear Islands" with an uppercase "I", but as far as I can tell, the book only uses the lowercase version "Darkspear islands" (page 132, first sentence under the "MASTER OF THE SHADOWS" header: "The Darkspear tribe was once part of a vast troll empire, cast out and settling on the Darkspear islands."). Am I blind and missing something else in the book, or is the citation incorrect? -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male.gif DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 15:18, 10 August 2019 (UTC)

My book has the sentence spelled with "Darkspear Islands" not "Darkspear islands". Yours is different?? --Mordecay (talk) 15:32, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
Apparently. I only have the original edition, though. Did they change it in the Updated and Expanded version? -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male.gif DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 21:10, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
The updated and expanded version doesn't have that sentence. Instead, the first sentence of the MASTER OF THE SHADOWS paragraph is this: "The Darkspear tribe once faced near extinction by attacks from a sea witch and her minions, as well as from the encroaching Alliance." No mention of the islands later.
When did you get your book? I got mine when it was released, IIRC, so if you got yours later that would mean there are "two versions" of the first UVG book? --Mordecay (talk) 21:29, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
I can't really remember. It looks like mine was printed in October 2013, but I guess it doesn't really matter. If your copy has the uppercase version, then I suppose it's fine. -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male.gif DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 11:31, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
Mine says it was printed October 2013 as well. --Mordecay (talk) 11:43, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
