Name

nominating this for a move because, on a cursory glance, i'm not seeing the term "ingredient" anywhere in-game. the terms i am seeing:

  • items used for crafting have the tag Crafting Reagent
  • when viewing a recipe in a profession window, it says Reagents above the list of required items
  • the enchanting and engineering windows list crafting items under a Reagents header
  • the alchemy, blacksmithing, leatherworking, and tailoring windows list them under a Materials header
    • jewelcrafting uses Reagents in the TBC section and Materials in the Classic section
  • the WoD section in profession windows uses a Reagents and Research header, regardless of the term used in other expac sections
    • the Legion section uses a Reagents header, regardless of the term used in other expac sections

tldr i think it should be either "crafting reagent" or "material" —Eithris (talk) 03:16, 2 February 2020 (UTC)

Yeah I think most instances I can recall are either crafting reagents and materials. I'd go for "crafting reagent" I think, simply because of the tag on all such items. PeterWind (talk) 06:29, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
