Talk:C'Thrax

Species Name

Even in singular cases, they're referred to as "C'Thraxxi" if it's followed by a title like "general". C'Thrax is only ever used for a singular one if it's not written alongside a title. "C'Thraxxi" is may be the actual name for the race or at least more than just the plural form. Quoted example here:

"Roused by the blood offerings, a gigantic C’Thraxxi general emerged from its long slumber and ruthlessly slaughtered all those who had revived it. The trolls were unaware that this was Kith’ix, the being who had survived the encounter with Keeper Tyr. Gravely wounded, the C’Thrax had fled southwest to what would be known as the Zandalar Mountains before collapsing into a deep hibernation"

"a C'Thraxxi monstrosity"

"C'Thrax" does appear to be what's in the index, but we shouldn't edit all singular mentions of C'Thraxxi into "C'Thrax". -Dusksworn (talk) 06:45, 16 March 2016 (UTC)

I think in that case, C'Thraxxi is being used as an adjective, along the lines of "orcish." -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 07:35, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
Makes sense. I just saw that the page for Zakajz had been changed from "C'Thraxxi monstrosity" to "C'Thrax monstrosity" and felt that matter had to be clarified. -Dusksworn (talk) 20:37, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
