I don't agree with this. Target mobs for quests should definitely be part of quest pages and actually tend to be. Especially such those when you mount a vehicle and new mobs appear, like in this quest and many other. Doesn't really makes sense to not list those. -- Mordecay (talk) 20:53, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- Typically, when a quest just says "kill a bunch of stuff" without being specific, we HAVEN'T listed every single mob that gives credit for the quest. Especially when there are no available mobs that don't give credit. For instance, [10-40] A Taste of Iron. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:02, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- Not listing mobs just seem lazy. There are quest pages that DO have mobs listed. When they appear for a specific phase of a quest (like when in a vehicle) it feels like they should be present on the page. -- Mordecay (talk) 21:25, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- I don't know if I would put all eligible mobs on every quest page myself but I don't think there's much reason to remove the info when it's already there. In the cases where new mobs appear, it makes sense what you have to kill when doing the quest of course. However, you wouldn't know from reading our pages if the mobs are not listed. - As a note, they're not new mobs; they're the same mobs that are always present in the area, you just get placed in a separate phase with higher spawn rates to kill them with the cannon. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:09, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- I think both are valid points of view, perhaps we could word it as "all mobs in the area give credit" as a compromise (or something along those lines)? I believe this is what we have on some other quest pages.
- Although I feel like "Faithless attackers slain" may already be explicit enough in itself.-- — MyMindWontQuiet 20:29, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
- I don't mind having the list Xporc (talk) 23:04, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
- I agree with MMWQ that both perspectives are valid. Personally I'm not really bothered either way; when making quest pages I usually won't include a list of all the specific mobs (unless there's only like 2-3 of them) but if someone wants to add them all then I don't really care enough to remove them. I do think it looks pretty ugly to list everything out in cases where there's tens of things that give credit (e.g. bonus objectives), but maybe that could be mitigated by using better formatting than just a list of plain links. -- DeludedTroll (talk • contribs) 23:23, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
