Blaze edge: i'd say its pretty save to say it was a mishearing. CJ 10:41, 21 Dec 2005 (EST)

I was thinking that. When I saw the two names I was like, whoa. Those have to be the same place. --Xmuskrat 10:51, 21 Dec 2005 (EST)

Gronn'bor Shrine -> Bladespire Hold

There has never been any Gronn'bor Shrine, as seen on the official map. "Shrine" also, denotes something small, not as big as that town, thus "Hold". Bladespire Hold is an Ogre faction. --Shandris 15:07, 30 September 2006 (EDT)

Beta Images

I've watched a couple videos from Blade's Edge and there appears to be several or the black dragon flight, impaled on the spikes of the mountains, and one chained, high in the air outside an ogre encampment, (looking at the map, I"m almost positive it is Bloodmaul Outpost). Deathwing? Can anybody confirm this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAgiFTeA4oI and http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6589018016427857730&q=blade%27s+edge+mountains&hl=en --Theschief 14:03, 12 November 2006 (EST)

There's a black dragon's head hanging from chains under one of the bridges over an ogre camp...The dragons kind of make me wonder how they got there, or what they were doing. One of them is backed onto the spike...--Azaram 01:27, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

Content Box

That content box is horrible... Its so wide... Is there anyway to make it thinner, and make section 3.8 wrap around to next line? Cause between it and the enlarged picture of Singing mountain its squishing the discription text...Baggins 15:18, 25 December 2006 (EST)

Originally Gorgrond

This area was apparently once Gorgrond (well, Gorgrond and Frostfire). So I think the article needs some updating. Meganerd18 (talk) 14:57, 29 July 2014 (UTC)

It is also a retcon, and not just an added backstory. The Blade's Edge Mountains were in Warcraft II, Rise of the Horde, and Beyond the Dark Portal. Now, with the mountains not existing until Outland was created, all that is there is not even a smaller range (though there sort of is, just not called that) but a single "Blade's Edge Mountain" as some kind of shout-out.--SWM2448 19:00, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
That doesn't change that the zone still used to be Gorgrond, though.ReignTG (talk) 19:35, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
And Frostfire.--SWM2448 19:38, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
Guess the previous iterations have been retconed as this "Blade's Edge Mountain" and the range sorrounding it.Unholy Cemotucu (talk contribs) 21:50, 29 July 2014 (UTC)

Floating derbis?

I guess Blade's Edge is the only zone in Outland without floating derbis. Even Shadowmoon Valley has floating derbis. FenneKindleFire (talk) 00:43, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
