If anything, what's happened to him has been left deliberately ambiguous, if it's not a plot hole. It's possible that Belloc did a Houdini; who else in the vicinity would gain from plotting to kill Commander Schnottz? Deepred (talk) 22:32, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
