Should the quest "Seeping Corruption" (http://www.thottbot.com/?qu=3568) from Undercity belong here? --bfx 05:42, 21 February 2007 (EST)

It belongs in Undercity because that's where it's filed under in-game, and that's where the quest is given. ---- Varghedin.jpg Varghedin  talk / contribs 08:39, 21 February 2007 (EST)
But shouldn't it be added to an Undercity category, similarly to the quests in Un'Goro Crater (Un'goro Soil, for example, is a TB quest). That would also make it easier to find any zone-related quests. --bfx 03:13, 22 February 2007 (EST)
Sure, that's quite reasonable. Go ahead :) ---- Varghedin.jpg Varghedin  talk / contribs 05:19, 22 February 2007 (EST)

Zin-Azshari

(moved from main page)

Note From a Player!

I have noticed an incorrect bit of info for this region... Essentially, the top of this page states that it used to be part of Zin-Azshari. Yet, the ruins on the coast of the Bay of Storms is the city of Eldarath (which was NOT part of Zin-Azshari). Now, I'm not sure who exactly said the region was part of Zin-Azshari, but I'm betting that it wasn't Blizzard... I mean, really, it was not that large of a city as to have had part of it so close to Mount Hyjal. Not to mention the city was supposedly spread out along the shore of the Well of Eternity, which was only slightly larger that the Maelstrom is now. Just thought I'd share my thoughts with the public on this...

Thank you, but were well aware of the...situation. See Zin-Azshari. Also in the future please use the talk page, do not add personal notes to the article.Warthok Talk Contribs 23:34, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Goblins neutral or exclusively Horde friendly?

Is it known whether the goblins in Azshara (after the Cataclysm) are only friendly to the Horde or neutral, like the Steamwheedle Cartel goblins? I would like to quest with these goblins and ride that rocket, but I only play as Alliance. Any information regarding this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Linguist Dan (talk) 15:24, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

The goblins in Azshara are horde-aligned because they are part of the Bilgewater Cartel, the goblin faction in the Horde. I hope this answers your question. Gebezis 15:35, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

Nightborne and Legion

So the word "Azsharan" comes up a lot, the area is used as a stand in for Zin-Azshari (because it is), and Duskwatch Subjugators will say that they wished that they took a post here if clicked on enough. I guess this means something, but the area's actual relationship with the city was never quite clarified (outskirts, overall region, what?).--SWM2448 05:56, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

I think it's just a matter of Blizzard not thinking things through, honestly. Even the Chronicle map of pre-Sundering Kalimdor shows the zone of Azshara to be way too far away from the city of Zin-Azshari, which is as it should be. - Linneris (talk) 09:09, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
The Azsharan term refers to Xavius, Zin-Azshari, and a sea theme both pre-Sundering and post-Sundering. I'm missing something. Was Azsuna the eastern half of pre-Sundering Azshara? Somehow?--SWM2448 00:19, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
My understanding is that "Azsharan" just refers to the kaldorei empire culture and era. Xporc (talk) 00:22, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

Classic

Was every NPC in the classic version of Azshara removed in Cataclysm? FenneKindleFire (talk) 00:25, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

I don't know that anyone has done a full 1:1 comparison, but most of them definitely were. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 00:35, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
