Swampwalkers are timberlings that can be found in the Swamp of Sorrows.
In the RPG
Swampwalkers are similar to most timberlings, but are darker green in color. They dwell almost exclusively in swamps, defending their territory from any intruders. A swampwalker is naturally stealthy and usually lurks just under the surface of the water, lashing out at any creature that comes near. Swampwalkers stand 7 feet high and weigh 300 pounds. They can flatten themselves down to as short as 2 feet, usually to hide in brambles or underwater. Swampwalkers attack indiscriminately, lurching toward any opponent within range. They particularly loathe fire and go after anyone holding or wielding a flame, no matter how small or inoffensive the flame may seem.[1]
Notes
- Swampwalkers are classified as elementals in World of Warcraft, but this is due to gameplay reasons. They are actually plants according to lore.
