Patch changes

  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 10 class talent (was a level 35 Brewmaster talent).
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now available at level 35 (was 60).
  • Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.1.0 (2018-12-11): Threat radius reduced to 20 yards (was 30 yards).
  • Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): No longer usable by Windwalker.
  • Legion Patch 7.1.5 (2017-01-10): Now usable by Windwalker.
  • Legion Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Changed from a level 70 ability to a level 60 talent.
  • Warlords of Draenor Hotfix (2014-10-30): Black Ox Statue should no longer be attacking targets.
  • Warlords of Draenor Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): No longer casts Guard on allies and now has a 10-second cooldown (down from 30 seconds). Black Ox Statue now passively attracts the attention of all enemies within 30 yards, causing a minor amount of threat each second.
  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): The damage requirement to activate Sanctuary of the Ox has been increased by 100%. The spell tooltip has been updated to reflect the change.
  • Mists of Pandaria Hotfix (2012-10-16):
    • Guard will no longer fade from the Monk when her Ox Statue applies Guard to another player.
    • [Skull Banner] and Sanctuary of the Ox can now stack, and neither effect will overwrite the other.
  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Added.
