The Strange Gong can be found at the entrance of Zul'Aman. This device will allow you to break the seals and open the door.
During The Burning Crusade, this started by talking to Harrison Jones and required five players hitting the gong to break the seals.
In Cataclysm, only Vol'jin and one single player are required.
