The Sorrow Hill Crypt.

Sorrow Hill, located in Western Plaguelands, is a large graveyard filled with victims from the plague and of the Scourge War, including the nearby tomb of Uther the Lightbringer. The dilapidated crypt on the eastern edge of Sorrow Hill is inhabited by skeletal magi and Scourge warders.

Cataclysm This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.

The Crypt on the edge of Sorrow Hill is now devoid of mobs, but still accessible. A [15-30] The Abandoned Crypt takes place here. It was apparently used for weapon storage. The books are unexplained.

Speculation

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

Judging by its proximity to Andorhal, it is believed that this was the crypt that held the remains of the necromancer Kel'Thuzad after he was killed by Prince Arthas. In Warcraft III, however, the places of the death and burial of Kel'Thuzad were both northeast of the city, not southeast.

At the very bottom of the crypt is a small office. A desk, a bookcase, a few bookpiles, etc. Perhaps it is a necromancer's laboratory, or, as suggested above, the tomb of Kel'Thuzad.

Patch changes
