Son of Goldrinn was a spirit wolf quest giver located at Crowley Orchard in Gilneas that was removed from the Cataclysm beta. The quests he offered seemed to indicate that he was sent by an unknown party to watch over Lorna Crowley.

The "unknown party" might have been Goldrinn himself.
In Curse of the Worgen Issue 5, Belysra Starbreeze comments she caught a glimpse of a spectral wolf in the Blackwald. This may have been a nod to the removed Son of Goldrinn, or simply her former lover Arvell who appears as a giant spirit wolf later in the issue.
