Shield Mastery is a Warrior talent on Tier 2 of the Protection tree. It reduces the cooldown of 
[Shield Block] and 
[Shield Wall], and causes Shield Block to reduce magic damage taken for 6 seconds.
Patch changes
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed. 
Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26): No longer affects the cooldown of Spell Reflection, however, it now procs a second aura that reduces magic damage by 7/14/20% for 6 seconds. - Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Moved from tier 6 to tier 2 and Redesigned: Reduces the cooldown of your Shield Block by 10/20/30 sec, your Shield Wall by 60/120/180 sec and causes your Shield Block to also reduce magic damage taken by 7/14/20% for 6 sec.
- Old: Increases the amount of damage absorbed by your shield by 10/20/30%.
- Old: Increases the amount of damage absorbed by your shield by 10/20/30%.
Patch 2.0.1 (2006-12-05): Added.
