Shadowlands proficiency is the ninth stage of a profession learned at the appropriate profession trainer when a character has reached at least level 50. It unlocks the use and development of profession related skills in Shadowlands related content. Not counting racial or other bonuses, it allows skill ups to a maximum of 150 points.

Profession proficiency levels fall into eleven groups to learn and execute recipes organized by expansion: Classic, Outland (Bc icon.gif), Northrend (Wrath-Logo-Small.png), Cataclysm (Cataclysm), Pandaria (Mists of Pandaria), Draenor (Warlords of Draenor), Legion (Legion), Kul Tiran / Zandalari (Battle for Azeroth), Shadowlands (Shadowlands), Dragon Isles (Dragonflight), and Khaz Algar (The War Within).
