- For trainers with the title "Master", see Trainer#Master.
Outland proficiency, formerly known as Master, is the second stage of a profession learned at the appropriate profession trainer when a character has reached at least level 58. It unlocks the use and development of profession related skills in Outland related content. Not counting racial or other bonuses, it allows skill ups to a maximum of 75 points.
Profession proficiency levels fall into eleven groups to learn and execute recipes organized by expansion: Classic, Outland (), Northrend (), Cataclysm (), Pandaria (), Draenor (), Legion (), Kul Tiran / Zandalari (), Shadowlands (), Dragon Isles (), and Khaz Algar ().

- Prior to the expansion Battle for Azeroth, the Master proficiency could be learned as early as level 40 (gathering) or 50 (non-gathering) and 275 skill and allowed progression gain up to a maximum of 375 points, not counting any racial or any other bonuses.
- With only the The Burning Crusade expansion purchased, no skill or profession can go beyond the Outland proficiency level.
- In Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, Master is a rank players can achieve.
