Server talk:Feathermoon US/Guilds and Characters

Anyone else thing that a page for listing houses and families of Feathermoon would fit in here? This is totally inspired by the nobility of Lordaeron thread, but would be a good way to compile and list the information.

I would think so as it would have to do with the characters. ---> Xaandr 11:11, 21 November 2006 (EST)

I'll go ahead and create a section beneath the guild listings then. I'll also post in the Nobility of Lordaeron thread on the Realm forums and try to get people to relate the information back to this page. -Vont

Actually thinking about it this page is cluttered, maybe a new one entitled Houses of Feathermoon may be in order. -Vont

Compliance with WW:GUILD

I was perusing the site and noticed that there was a recent policy update regarding the naming of guild articles. I took the opportunity to update my guild's article - and then promptly followed up with the rest of the guilds listed on the Feathermoon Guilds category. I'll note, however, that I misread when I saw the warning concerning double and broken misdirects and started editting various pages to reflect the new links. Silly me, that's what redirect pages are for! -- Cynra (T·C) 14:30, 7 May 2007 (EDT)

Couple of Changes

I'm getting tired of the naming policies banner at the top of this page, so I'm going through and making templates to clean this up and hopefully comply with recent changes (especially the one concerning character articles!). At the moment, I've created a new template (Template:FMGL) for entering guilds. I still need to tweak it a bit (especially for guilds without websites, bleh;I'm having fun trying to figure out how to set a default value), but for now it's probably fine and is a good first step towards getting rid of that banner. Expect another template to follow for characters that will also link to the characters' armory pages as well as their article pages.

I've also got to make sure that all of the old guild articles link up with the current naming policy, so I'll be dabbling with that today. As always, if my initiative was unwelcome, just revert! User:Cynra/Sig 11:18, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Being bold - again. I got tired of the damned naming violation banner on the top of the article, so I'm going through, moving all of the player character articles to the appropriate location, and then updating the page to reflect that. I've finished the Horde and will be going to the Alliance shortly. Furthermore, I've thrown together a template based on another template that generates both a link to the article and a link to the armory while displaying the preferred role-playing name of that character. See Template:FMChar for more information! As always, if the changes done here are unwelcome, feel free to modify or revert (in extreme cases). User:Cynra/Sig 13:16, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
All right, ladies and gents, it's done. I've removed the banner since we shouldn't have a single naming violation on this page any more. Also, every article that was listed on this site with an incorrect address has been moved (by hand, mind you! I'll need to learn how to bot one day if something like this comes up again...) to the appropriate address. I did the Alliance and Horde portions and the removal of the banner in parts so that people can easily track the changes that I made. If there's any questions, post here and I'll follow up - once my hand in done cramping up! User:Cynra/Sig 15:01, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
