The information and events listed are of an independent nature and applied for roleplaying, fictional, speculative, or opinions from a limited playerbase only.

Shadow Council is a medium-to-high population RP server in the US Mountain time zone opened in February of 2005.

Roleplayers on Shadow Council are very active in the community, and frequently utilize the realm forums to organize server-wide events and open RP sessions. Roleplayers can also utilize Roleplayer's Haven and Shadow Council's own wiki to post their characters' backgrounds and stories, or to read those of others.

Many guilds also venture into end-game raiding. Top Raiding Guilds: [1]

Shadow Council belongs to the Reckoning Battlegroup (Formerly Battlegroup 1).

University of Kalimdor

The University of Kalimdor is an organization of educators providing education to the Horde in the following ways:

  • Conventions
  • Seminars
  • Open Discussions

Fear and Triumph

There is a secret meeting of Fences and Thieves in Cut-Throat Alley under the guise of a secretive Alliance brotherhood claiming to be a warriors guild; Fear and Triumph. Meetings are random and goods can be "fenced" to other players.

Businesses and Events

The Inkwell

Player-run Book and Coffeeshop, library across from the Stockades, Stormwind.
Come by Tuesday evenings for drinks, banter, and books. 7pm realm time.

Tales of Azeroth

Player-run lore lectures at the Hall of Explorers, Ironforge.
Every Thursday night at 7pm realm time, followed by socializing at a local bar.

The Dancing Dragon Tea Service

Player-run tea shop, Mage District, Stormwind.
Tea served by the well outside the Slaughtered Lamb, every Friday evening at 7pm realm time.

The Happy Belly Teahouse

Player-run Noodles and Tea, Wayfarer's Inn, Silvermoon.
Drinks, food, and socializing in pandaren style, starting at 6pm realm time Saturdays.

Fancy Cakes

Player-run bakery, outside the Reliquary in Silvermoon.
Drinks, food, and socializing on the stoop, 6pm realm time every Sunday evening.

The Shadowfire Club

Player-run Lounge, Warlock Training area, Silvermoon.
Drinks and player performances on Sunday evenings, starting around 8pm realm time.

Equinox

While Shadow Council has a number of distinct features and organizations, one of the biggest parts of the Shadow Council realm is the fact that a popular Warcraft comic called "Equinox: Defender of the Horde" was shot there.
