Scarlet Cavaliers are elite mobs located inside Mardenholde Keep of Hearthglen, which is in the Western Plaguelands.
Abilities
Backhand — Backhands an enemy, stunning it for 2 sec.
Cleave — Inflicts 110% of normal melee damage to an enemy and its nearest allies, affecting up to 3 targets.
Mortal Strike — Inflicts 200% weapon damage and leaves the target wounded, reducing the effectiveness of any healing by 50% for 5 sec.
Info
Two of the six Cavaliers patrol inside Mardenholde Keep and are not linked to any other mobs.
- The first one patrols the ground floor of the Keep in the clockwise direction.
- The second one patrols the second floor of the Keep in the counter-clockwise direction.
The other four Cavaliers are located on the topmost floor and are linked to Highlord Taelan Fordring, a 63 elite paladin mob who heals, has a nasty AoE, and can use 
[Lay on Hands] (full-health heal which requires no mana to use). This group is three-mannable: ideally a tank, healer, and a sheeper/sapper.
Notable loot
The Cavaliers were notable for being the only mob in the game to drop the following item.
