Scale of the Prismatic Whiskerfish is obtained by completing several fishing-related tasks.

Acquisition

  1. Enter Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope on any difficulty.
  2. Fish up 10x  [Slumbering Moonfish] from the waters within the Wellspring Atrium.
  3. Fish up 10x  [Awakening Sunfish] from the lava pools within the Scorched Halls.
  4. Throw the 20x fish back into the water in the Wellspring Atrium. The Sunfish gives the Sunfish Essence buff, and the Moonfish gives the Moonfish Essence.
  5. Once all the fish are back in water, the buff Attuned Angler is applied. Return to the beginning of the raid and find the biggest pool of water within the Wellspring Atrium.
  6. There, find a Prismatic Whiskerfish Pool. Fishing in that pool with the buff awards  [Xena, the Whimsical Whiskerfish].
  7. Throw Xena back into the water to obtain the Scale of the Prismatic Whiskerfish.
