Sarias Colton was a human soldier of Stormwind who had been killed and raised by the Scourge during the Third War. He later regained his sanity and joined the Forsaken. Sylvanas Windrunner asked him and three others to travel to Stormwind City as emissaries and ask King Varian Wrynn to join the Alliance; Sarias and the others were chosen for the task as they had been admirable in life and were sufficiently intact to almost pass for living. Sarias felt honored by the assignment, and hoped also to see his sister once more.
The emissaries never returned to the Undercity. Forsaken scouts later discovered Sarias's pouch outside Stormwind, still containing a letter, a locket with the face of a young woman in it, and a family ring. Sylvanas suspected that the four emissaries had been slain the moment they were spotted, and that Varian had never even been aware of them or their mission.[1]
