Samara, also known as The White Widow, is a Zandalari troll and follower of Shadra first seen in Atal'Jani in Zanchul in Dazar'alor. As Talanji's ascension to Queen of Zandalar drew near, Samara attempted to lead a rebellion against her and her new Zanchuli Council. She swayed Enforcer Malzon[1] along with numerous Zandalari civilians to her side. It appears that the citizenry was afraid of being forced to worship Bwonsamdi and Samara offered them a choice.[2]
Throughout the storyline, white spiders named the Eyes of Samara can be seen watching from the shadows. They are similar to the Eye of Shadra, the spiders that Yazma used during her time as the mistress of spies. Samara herself appeared in almost all quests until her final combat, hiding in plain sight.
Samara attempts one last time to end Talanji's reign by facing her and the Horde ambassador directly, claiming that she will "expose the truth" about Talanji and Bwonsamedi. She is slain, claiming that she goes to see Shadra on the other side.[3]
Abilities
Call Spiders — Calls a clutch of spiders to assist the caster.
Web Bomb — Stuns all enemies within 4 yards of the impact, rendering them unable to move or attack for 5 sec. Inflicts 3 Nature damage to all enemies within 4 of the impact every 1 sec for 5 sec.
