The Ruby Oathstone is the oathstone of the red dragonflight, located at ^{[62.4, 73.1]} on the southeastern side of the Ruby Lifeshrine in the Waking Shores. The symbol of the red dragonflight's calling to protect life, it once cast its glow high into the air for all to see. Alexstrasza believes that it and all of the other oathstones went dormant when she and the other Aspects sacrificed their powers to defeat Deathwing during the Cataclysm. The oathstone was restored when Sabellian returned the long-absent eggs of the black dragonflight to the Life Pools and thereby helped the red flight fulfill their calling.
