Ruby Lake
Ruby Lake [64, 27] is a lake high above the Blazing Way and the Ordon Sanctuary in the northeastern corner of Timeless Isle. The only means of accessing the area is by aggroing a Highwind Albatross, letting it fly around the isle until reaching the area, then attacking again and killing it to drop down into the lake.
The waters of Ruby Lake are colored a strange reddish hue, possibly due to the ruby crystals found deep within the mountains of the Timeless Isle.[1]
History
Exploring Azeroth
Following the awakening of the Dragon Isles, Chen Stormstout, Li Li Stormstout, and Catelyn the Blade arrived at Ruby Lake from the Ordon Sanctuary using Chen's flying kites. Li Li noted that there were no stories as to why the lake was red, but that it might be because of the crystals in it. It was noted that the place had an eerie look to it, so the trio decided against diving in and searching for the crystals. Chen did collect some of the water in a flask, for a possible future brewmaster trick.[2]
