Rendevan was a member of the Farstriders before the Second War. He and Anaryth were sent to scout the Amani territory but did not return. Sylvanas Windrunner and Lor'themar Theron went to look for them and found Rendevan's body seated in front of the shrine marking the edge of Amani territory, his own severed head in his lap. A nearby pile of skulls was topped with Anaryth's, still wet with her blood. Their bodies were recovered and brought back to Farstrider Retreat.
