Ren Whitepaw is a pandaren historian found in the Jade Forest along with his daughter Lina Whitepaw. He was in the Den of Sorrow researching myths surrounding the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, finding Tortured Spirits corrupted by the influence of Y'Shaarj. He later aided Prince Anduin Wrynn against pursuing hozen, being injured in the process. He is later healed by the den's healing waters in 
[10-35] Sacred Waters. He accompanies Anduin after he runs away from the SI:7 agents sent to take him home. He and his daughter are not seen afterward.
