Randal was a human entrusted with guarding the Dark Portal after its destruction. One night Randal and his comrade Willam were taken by surprise when the Dark Portal reopened and a dark shadow covered the area. Randal ordered Willam to sound the alarm while he decided to investigate his foggy surroundings and heard unknown footsteps. He ordered the being to stop, but they got even closer. While he had no idea were they came from, he felt one behind him and held up his shield. The unknown figure was indeed strong for he crushed the shield and the impact ripped off Randal's arm. All guards guarding the Dark Portal were eventually killed when the Horde and death knight took it over.[1]
