Rae'shalare, Death's Whisper is a hunter-only legendary bow that drops from Sylvanas Windrunner in the Sanctum of Domination. It is the Banshee Queen's own weapon, and when equipped, it gives the wielder access to the 
[Wailing Arrow] ability. Equipping it also rewards the 
[Rae'shalare, Death's Whisper] achievement. The bow can be empowered with the 
[Wraithwisp Sinew] and the [Ethereal Fletching].
Notes
- Its title is similar to Deathwhisper, a bow used by Sylvanas in the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game.
- Rae'shalare wasn't initially planned to be a legendary item. However, as the designers discussed the bow during the development process, they decided that they wanted it to be evocative of Sylvanas' archery skills, which led to the idea of letting hunters access some of Sylvanas' power in the form of an extra ability. They decided that this effect was "way cooler" than that of a normal epic item and thus changed Rae'shalare to legendary.[1]
