Purrkins (also pluralized as purrkin)[1] are critters in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market. Purrkins are a traditional pet of the Brokers and the two have a mutually beneficial relationship -- a necessity in Broker culture.[2] The purrkin hunt the invasive skrats in the Veiled Market, keeping the population just high enough that they are still needed.[3]
