Presence of Mind is an Arcane mage talent. When activated, it causes the next two casts of [Arcane Blast] to be instant.

Notes

Presence of Mind's cooldown will not begin until both instant Arcane Blasts have been cast.
Activating this ability does not trigger the global cooldown.

Presence of Mind is a rare mage ability in the Trading Card Game. Its flavor text reads: "Impatience is a virtue."

Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 6 Arcane talent (was a level 42 Arcane ability). Rank 2 removed.
Patch 9.0.2 (2020-11-17): Rank 2 added at level 54: [Arcane Blast] can be cast instantly 1 additional time.

Patch 7.1.5 (2017-01-10): Now available at level 54, and is no longer a talent.

Patch 3.0.9 (2009-02-10): [Arcane Power] and Presence of Mind now share a category cooldown. Arcane Power causes a 15 second cooldown. Presence of Mind, once consumed, causes a 1.5 second cooldown.
Patch 3.0.9 (2009-02-10): The cooldown has been reduced to 2 minutes, (down from 3.)
Patch 2.0.3 (2007-01-09): Casting [Ice Lance] will no longer consume the mage's talent Presence of Mind buff.
Patch 0.9 (2004-08-17): Reduced cooldown. Now only works on Mage spells with a cast time of less than 10 seconds.
