The Postmaster is a human located in the Postmaster's Office in Dalaran. He is in charge of sending mail to characters and retrieval of items that were not rewarded into the player's inventory, usually because their inventory was full. He uses mailementals to help him sort mail.

Trivia

• When a player inquired on the EU General Forum as to who the Postmaster was, Aerythlea jokingly responded that the Postmaster's favorite color was grey. This is most likely in reference to when the Postmaster used to send every unlooted poor quality item to the character's mailbox.
• The Postmaster questline was made by game designers Johnny Cash and Don Adams.
• The Postmaster's office has tubes for delivering mail to all of the game's continents introduced up to Legion except for one, Draenor.
