A pink elekk

Pink elekks are sometimes hallucinated by drunk people. During the annual Brewfest, reports of pink elekks come in from the various beer gardens set up across Azeroth. The elekks can't be harmed with normal weapons, but an  [Elekk Dispersion Ray] can be used to make their forms dissipate. Players who don't wish to actually get drunk can use  [Synthebrew Goggles] to see them instead.

Unlike the others, the Pink Elekks at the Allerian Stronghold and Stonebreaker Hold in Terokkar Forest are present year-round.

Notes and trivia

• A tamable pink elekk can be found in the Grim Guzzler of Blackrock Depths during Brewfest.
• Judging by the quest name, pink elekks are based on the "Pink Elephants on Parade" musical segment in Dumbo, wherein the main character accidentally gets drunk and hallucinates about pink elephants. "Pink Elephants on Parade" was, in turn, inspired by the expression "seeing pink elephants," a euphemism for drunken hallucination.
