It is an exclusive choice node with [Vile Taint].

Patch changes

Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 5 Affliction talent (was a level 35 Affliction talent).
Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now available at level 35 (was 60).
Patch 7.2.5 (2017-06-13):
- Phantom Singularity moved to level 60 (was level 100).
- Phantom Singularity cooldown reduced to 40 seconds (was 60 seconds), damage increased by 5%, healing reduced to 20% of damage done (was 30%), and radius reduced to 15 yards (was 25 yards). Now taps targets immediately.
Patch 7.1.0 (2016-10-25): Damage increased by 5%.
Hotfix (2016-09-23): Phantom Singularity (Talent) damage increased by 15%.
Hotfix (2016-08-08): Phantom Singularity now only hits enemies within line of sight of it.
Hotfix (2016-08-01): Phantom Singularity damage has been doubled.
