  • An open mind and a trusty wrench'll get you through most any problem!
  • Another perfect creation!
  • Don't stress about it. We're not going anywhere!
  • It may take you a while to find other blueprints.
  • Now THESE are incredible new ideas!
  • Pascal-K1N6, prepare your database for rapid-transfer. Store these ideas until we develop blueprints for them.
  • Scrap Grenades are Explosives.
  • Take a look through all the blueprints I've programmed into Pascal-K1N6.

Gossip

There's nothing better than seeing a giant robot that you created from scratch spring to life.

Some tinkerers never experience that level of success... It must be depressing to not be the best.

Gossip Tell me about Junkyard Tinkering.

Junkyard Tinkering is the fancy title that I invented for the technique that us mechagnomes use to craft things.
Look at us. Look at our town. We're resourceful, clever, and we're always tinkering with some new invention.
This is how we convert an Energy Cell and a handful of Spare Parts into a weapon capable of blasting a trogg to dust, or an implant to boost your mental capacities, or a security turret to defend our town.
All of the gadgets and gizmos we've created came from tinkering out here in the junkyard. And we always document our designs in Blueprints, which Pascal-K1N6 here stores in his database for easy reference.
You can access any blueprints we've collated right here!

Gossip Tell me about Blueprints.

Blueprints store the precise technical schematics of an invention, allowing anyone to create that item. Assuming they have sufficient skill to do so, of course.
Thankfully for you, I programmed Pascal-K1N6 here with my own genius-level skill in Junkyard Tinkering.
You can access his database of Blueprints at any time to see what resources are required to make a particular item. Then bring the items to Pascal-K1N6 and he'll make it for you, free of charge.
You can find new Blueprints all across Mechagon. When you do, just bring them back to Pascal-K1N6. He'll upload them to his database and you can access them immediately.

Gossip Tell me about Spare Parts.

Spare Parts are the backbone of any construction or crafting project in Mechagon.
Sure, you may need an Energy Cell or a specialized component to really get the functionality you need. But, Spare Parts are the glue that hold all those things together and keeps things running.
Which is good, because you'll find Spare Parts everywhere in Mechagon.
You can hardly walk ten feet without stubbing your toe on something that can be used as Spare Parts.

Gossip Tell me about Energy Cells.

Energy Cells are the most valuable resource we have in Mechagon.
They are large batteries with a universal interface, capable of delivering electrical power to any mechanical device that requires it.
If you're looking to construct or craft something complex, you'll likely need at least one Energy Cell to power it.
You can find Energy Cells almost anywhere on the island, but they are exceptionally rare. When you have them, be sure to use them wisely.
If you have Empty Energy Cells, you can charge them at the Charging Station to convert them into usable Energy Cells.
The Quickcharge Twins experiment with Energy Cells often and are always looking for more test subjects. You can ask them for more information.

Gossip Where'd you get that blowtorch?

It was the prize for the inaugural Rustbolt Tinkering Competition, crafted by Prince Erazmin himself!
I won the competition, of course, with Pascal-K1N6 as my entry.
Christy and the Quickcharge twins put up a good fight.
I gave them copies of the blueprint, as a sign of respect, but I don't think either of them has managed to make one yet.
As you can see, the prince used top-shelf parts. It's not cheap.
I've still got the blueprints for the blowtorch, but I don't hand it out to just anyone.
