Description
Rot starve gnolls.
Rot hurt friends.
We kill rot now. Is what Mon-Arks do.

Me lead gnolls to better hunt now. You... not so bad. Gnolls hungry though, and you still meat.

Notes
Enter the Creektooth Den - Decayve and find three Friendly Gnolls.
- Gnoll Mon-Ark says: Look! Friends who not get decay in cage. They help us!
Open the first Meat Storage cage. The friendly gnoll turns into a hostile "Friendly" Gnoll and attacks:
- "Friendly" Gnoll says: FRESH MEAT!
Kill it.
- Gnoll Mon-Ark says: Hm. Maybe was just hungry. Try another.
Open the second cage, and the same thing happens:
- "Friendly" Gnoll says: Fresh meat?
Kill it too.
- Gnoll Mon-Ark says: Maybe third gnoll no attack.
Now, speak with the third gnoll instead:
- <The gnoll looks hungry.>
If I open this cage, will you try to eat me?- Friendly Gnoll says: Probably.
- Gnoll Mon-Ark says: Maybe friends bad idea. Look for root. It in here somewhere.
Find the Rotting Root near the first cage[12.99, 22.70] and pull it, which spawns the Root of Decay. Attack it:
- Gnoll Mon-Ark yells: By my crown, kill stinky tree!
Kill it.
- Gnoll Mon-Ark says: Finally. It done.
- After completion
- Gnoll Mon-Ark says: Bye friend-meat! No let anyone eat you!
- The Mon-Ark runs out of the cave.
Completing the quest also awards the "Creektooth Den" criterion of 
[Sojourner of Azure Span].
