Speak with Captain Tharran in Kharanos.

Description

Some of the mountaineers under Stonegrind's command were telling me about the situation out at Kharanos. When the troggs took over Frostmane Hold, it sounds like the surviving trolls fled westward, deep into the heart of the dwarven homeland.

Now, they threaten the dwarven town of Kharanos. It sounds like they're going to need all the help they can get. You should go to Kharanos and introduce yourself to Captain Tharran. Just follow the road east out of Brewnall and keep going until you see the town.

Completion

If Gnomeregan Covert Operations is recommending you, then you must have made quite an impression. You help will be most welcome here, as we've a wealth of enemies and few enough mountaineers to face them.

Notes

While on the road east, pick up  [1-30] Bound for Kharanos from Ciara Deepstone, just outside the gnomish gate. This concludes the Gnomish starting experience. Up next, the Kharanos quest chain with  [1-30] Frostmane Aggression from Tharran,  [1-30] The Perfect Stout from Rejold Barleybrew and  [Beer Basted Boar Ribs] from Ragnar Thunderbrew. But before doing that, enter the Thunderbrew Distillery, the inn of Kharanos, turn in  [1-30] Bound for Kharanos and set up a  [Hearthstone].
