Ol' Gertie is a dead silkstrider located atop the Gossamer Cliffs in Ardenweald. She was the broodmother of the silkstriders and their most reliable silk producer. During the Blackthorn attack on the area, she was scared to death by Noisul of Many Faces,[1] but she left behind her daughter Gertie Jr..[2]
