Nature's Grace is a tier 3 Balance druid talent. Primarily for Moonkins for increased DPS but "can" be used by Resto druids at 85 to get down to the raw 2/4/6% healing increased. This talent assumes at 25% uptime for Resto.
Notes
- This talent has a 1 minute internal cooldown.
- Nature's Grace will immediately refresh the remaining cooldown when you gain Lunar or Solar eclipse
- The 15% haste effect affects your GCD, but follows the same rules as regular haste rating, i.e. the GCD cannot be less than 1 second.
Tips and tactics
- Nature's Grace is a very significant source of DPS for a balance druid specc.
- Though the earlier form of Nature's Grace was preferred by Restoration specced druids, this talent can still prove useful for healing.
Patch changes
- Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed.
- Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Moved from tier 3 to tier 1 and redesigned: You gain 5/10/15% spell haste after you cast Moonfire or Insect Swarm, lasting 15 sec. This effect has 1 minute cooldown. When you gain Lunar or Solar Eclipse, the cooldown of Nature's Grace is instantly reset.
- Previous talent: All non-periodic spell criticals have a 33/66/100% chance to grace you with a blessing of nature, increasing your spell casting speed by 20% for 3 sec.
- Previous talent: All non-periodic spell criticals have a 33/66/100% chance to grace you with a blessing of nature, increasing your spell casting speed by 20% for 3 sec.
- Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08): The tooltip now correctly indicates that it will not be activated from periodic spell critical strikes.
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Redesigned: All non-periodic spell criticals have a 33/66/100% chance to grace you with a blessing of nature, increasing your spell casting speed by 20% for 3 sec.
- Previous talent: All spell criticals have a X% chance to grace you with a blessing of nature, reducing the casting time of your next spell by 0.5 sec.
- Previous talent: All spell criticals have a X% chance to grace you with a blessing of nature, reducing the casting time of your next spell by 0.5 sec.
- Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): Now also affects [Revive].
- Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Now a 3-point talent (up from 1 point), and now also reduces the global cooldown of your [Wrath] spell by 50% while in effect. Moved to tier 3 (was tier 5).
- Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): This talent is now triggered by [Swiftmend] and [Lifebloom], and is triggered by and affects [Cyclone].
- Patch 1.11.0 (2006-06-19): You will no longer consume this effect when casting a spell which was made instant by [Nature's Swiftness].
- Patch 1.10.1 (2006-04-11): Nature's Grace will now correctly trigger after every spell critical strike.
- Patch 1.9.0 (2006-01-03): The Nature's Grace buff will now appear on the player upon completion of casting, before the travel time of the spell. So, [Wrath] crits will now benefit the casting time of the next spell cast.
- Patch 1.8.0 (2005-10-10): Redesigned: All spell criticals grace you with a blessing of nature, reducing the casting time of your next spell by 0.5 sec.
- Original talent: Your critical strikes with Wrath, Starfire, and Moonfire spells grace you with a blessing of nature, reducing the cast time of your next Regrowth or Healing Touch spell by 1 sec.
