Mogh the Dead, formerly Mogh the Undying, is a rare jungle troll witch doctor found in the Ruins of Zul'Mamwe in Northern Stranglethorn.

History

When known as Mogh the Undying, both Gerrig Bonegrip and Keeper Bel'dugur wanted [The Legacy Heart] that Mogh carried. He mind-controlled several Kurzen Mindslaves. Adventurers killed him for that heart, but now Mogh is back from the dead as the rare spawn Mogh the Dead, continuing the position he had while alive.

Drain Life — Drains health from an enemy over 5 sec., transferring it to the caster.
Shadow Bolt — Hurls a bolt of dark magic at an enemy, inflicting Shadow damage.

The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.3a but is present in Classic Era.

Slave Drain — Drains 750 health from the caster's pet, healing the caster for up to 150% of that amount.
Summon Kurzen Mindslave — Summons a Kurzen Mindslave to accompany the caster until dismissed.

The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.3a but is present in Classic Era.

Although back from the dead, and even referred to as the Dead, he is tagged as humanoid rather than undead. Possibly an oversight.

Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Re-added as Mogh the Dead, a level 29 rare spawn. Level reduced from 44 elite to 29.
Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Removed.
