The Mirage Flats is located east of Dustbelch Grotto in the Badlands. It lays between Dragon's Mouth and New Kargath. It is populated primarily by Giant Buzzards, Ridge Stalker Patriarchs, and Rabid Crag Coyotes.
During the Cataclysm, a bulk of the area was destroyed by Deathwing, turning into the Scar of the Worldbreaker. What little remains of it makes up part of the no-man's land between New Kargath and Dragon's Mouth.

Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Part of the zone destroyed and turned into Scar of the Worldbreaker.
