Manuel was the older brother of Private Strov. A far simpler man than his relative, Manuel spent his days as a docker on Theramore's port and his nights drinking his pay away at the Demonsbane Inn and Tavern. He was particularly enthusiastic about imported orcish boar's grog despite its price. As a result of his poor financial skills, Manuel still lived with their parents while Strov had his own place.

At some point, Manuel told his brother about the Burning Blade's presence in Theramore. Manuel later met with Margoz at the Demonsbane in order to show Strov which person the demonic cultist was. This sadly led to Strov's own death at the hands of the demon Zmodlor, with Strov's last thoughts being the hope that Manuel wouldn't blow his entire pension on boar's grog.

It is unknown whether he survived the destruction of Theramore.
