Magnus Manastorm is the father of Millhouse Manastorm. Long ago, he apparently somehow threatened the fate of Dalaran and Azeroth, prompting even his son to turn on him. Having the impossibly rare problem of being more dangerous dead than alive, Magnus was imprisoned within the Phantasm Zone, a prison dimension in the Twisting Nether.

In Hearthstone

Magnus appears as the Buddy (unique minion card) for the Millhouse Manastorm hero in Hearthstone's Battlegrounds mode.

This appearance marks the first time Magnus has been visually depicted, since he was previously only mentioned in the book The Manastorm Decision.
