Lupos is rare mob wolf found roaming around Brightwood Grove and the Darkened Bank in Duskwood. Before Patch 1.9.0 Lupos used to inflict shadow damage when it attacked. It has a 4-6 hour respawn timer.
Abilities
Leaping Rush — Jumps at the target, inflicting 100% weapon damage.
Rabies — Reduces the rate of an enemy's health regeneration by 50%, in addition to lowering its Stamina by 5% and its Intellect by 5%, for 20 sec.

Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Level reduced from 23 to 20. No longer drops unique loot. 
Patch 1.9.0 (2006-01-03): All hunter pets will now always deal Physical damage for their base attack. Lupos no longer deals Shadow damage
