Lothrius Mooncaller is a night elf located in Suramar, one of the few Moon Guard survivors of the Nightborne's attack upon the Moon Guard Stronghold. After narrowly escaping, he, Thalrenus Rivertree, and Syrana Starweaver were invited to Shal'Aran by Thalyssra, who sought to atone for Elisande's crimes against their ancient neighbors, and they subsequently actively assisted the Nightfallen rebellion in Meredil.

Lothrius took up a leadership position in the reformed Moon Guard following the Nightfallen rebellion. When Thalyssra paid Shal'Aran a visit, she observed Lothrius training a new generation of recruits.

Trivia

• It is unclear why Lothrius referred to the kaldorei in third-person in his only quote referencing them, as he himself is a night elf and uses Darnassian phrases. It is possible that this is an error, or he may be referencing to Tyrande's kaldorei group specifically.
