Lord Irulon Trueblade is a human paladin and a high ranking member of the Argent Crusade.
History
Shadow Wing
After the reopening of the Dark Portal in 26 ADP, Irulon Trueblade led the Knights of the Silver Hand in an expedition to Outland. When Jorad Mace insisted on going on a mission in order to prove himself as a redeemed paladin, Trueblade asked him to be patient and help with the fortifications.[1] When Jorad returned with the news that an army of fel orcs and nether dragons was on its way towards the Dark Portal, Irulon was chosen to judge the paladin, who was believed to be a deserter. Just as he vouched for Jorad, Ragnok Bloodreaver's fel orc army arrived. Through the combined strength of the Horde, Alliance, Aldor, and Broken troops stationed at the portal, Ragnok's army was defeated.[2]
Wrath of the Lich King
During the war against the Lich King in 27 ADP, Trueblade was present at Valgarde in Howling Fjord when an adventurer brought the Ashbringer to him. He eventually handed the legendary sword to a Cleric of the Crusade, who turned out to be Tirion Fordring in disguise, so that he could anonymously reach the Northrend without being intercepted by the Lich King's agents. Upon revealing Ares the Oathbound's death, Irulon unsuccessfully asked the Highlord of the Argent Crusade to not reveal his identity, but Tirion still decided to announce loudly his presence on the frozen continent, eager to defeat once and for all Arthas Menethil.[3]
Legion
Following the Battle for Broken Shore in 32 ADP, Trueblade was present in the Sanctum of Light during the union ceremony of every paladin order on Azeroth into a restored Order of the Silver Hand, pledging allegiance to its new Highlord after the death of Tirion Fordring.[4] He and Sangrias Stillblade later granted paladins the March of the Highlord as they pass for a quicker navigation within the order hall.
Midnight
Years later, Lord Irulon Trueblade was among the paladins and priests summoned to defend the Sunwell from Xal'atath, as part of the Vanguard of the Light, and fought against the Devouring Host at the Sunwell Ramparts.[5]
